The staff at the hotel are attentive and competent. the hotel has a magnificent and unbeatable location, just a short walk from a train station. - There is a café called Ansonia Cafe which is only a 900 feet walk away.

Excellent services, the free parking was available onsite. Good-sized well laid out rooms with queen bed, shower and the large bathroom. Plenty of goodies for breakfast. Location next to public transport, and the train station, several shrines, amazing restaurants, a Lawson's, several coffee shops.

Hotel Gentle Fox Kyoto offers great value for money. With its spacious rooms equipped with a kitchen and comfortable queen or king beds, it provides a perfect accommodation option for families. We were extremely impressed with the spacious and comfortable studio apartment at Gentle Fox. The cleanliness was outstanding, and it offered great value for our stay. The location couldn't have been better, with the Inari train station and the beautiful Fushimi Inari shrine within walking distance. The staff was incredibly helpful, especially when we needed assistance with the washer/dryer. If we ever return to this area of Kyoto, we will definitely choose to stay at Gentle Fox Hotel again. The apartments were brand new with very generous facilities, including large beds with solid mattresses. Plus, the water pressure in the shower was very good. The location was great - a quiet suburb with supermarkets only a 5-minute walk away and train stations for easy access to different parts of the city in close proximity.

The staff was non-existent during the hours of 11 am to 3 pm, which was not communicated beforehand and led to some frustration during check-in. It would have been helpful to have been notified of this beforehand.
